It does what it's supposed to do.
"I used to have an in-ground pool that I converted to salt water for the same reason I wanted this little chlorinator, trouble free operation. And this one works! I didnt even have to drain the spa first ( I did leave it open for a day though). I calculated the spa capacity, measured out the salt to be added, dissolved it in a gallon pitcher and then poured it in. Dropped the eletrolytic cell into the water and havent had to make an adjustments in three weeks. The one "con" about it is I have to remind myself every time I get in to pull the cell out of the water. One time I forgot. Nothing happened but something easily could. Maybe just a wise thing to prevent electrocution, you know? I love this thing. My chlorine levels continue to be perfect but I'll still be testing every week."

Three Years So Far
"Bought one of these direct from spa depot some years back for a hot springs jetsetter. Once salt concentration is dialed in (get some salt test strips) the gadget works flawlessly. We actually leave it in the tub while using. It tingles a bit if in contact, though not much to notice. I’m just lazy I guess. It won’t hurt you. Famous last words, huh. Salt water chlorinators are the way to go, and many company’s tubs now come with that option. Check your brand of hot tub, because most will void the warranty if using a salt chlorinator. Ip put Pune in right after warranty expired."
I love the conversion to Salt Water with this
"We converted our hot tub to salt water with this and I have to say the experience has been joyful. The water is sparkling clear all the time now, we don't have to add chlorine or shock anymore, and it feels great to be submersed in mineral salts."
awesome product wish I found it sooner
"I have had this in my spa for 7 months now and other than checking the salt and chlorine levels have not had to do any maintenance what so ever.
we use the spa 1 to 2 times a week and run the solaxx for about 4 hours a day for a 600 gal spa. when I first put it in I started at 10 hrs a day and within a couple of days the chlorine levels were way to high."
